Lightroom for Beginners
Use Lightroom to catalogue, keyword, correct and enhace your photos
Lightroom can catalogue and hold 20 images or 20,000, fast! It doesn't touch your original shots, instead it changes the metadata to show the changes you've made. When you view your library, Lightroom is actually calling up an internal library of small thumbnails rather than full-size images. The advantage here is performance: Lightroom only has to work with smaller images, which makes it faster.
Lightrooms Raw editing engine is based on Adobe Camera Raw, the same technology that powers RAW file editing in Photoshop and Elements. So you're essentially getting the power of Photoshop for editing your Raw, Jpeg and Tiff files.
This course will show you how to the best out of these 2 key modules in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.
Who is this course for?
The course is aimed at those who are new to Lightroom and those who have been using it for a while but want to put a coherent structure on their Raw Cataloguing and Workflow.
What versions of Lightroom are covered by the course?
Lightroom 2 & 3 is suitable for this course.
An extra large screen LCD is used to show each of the techniques covered. At the start of the course you will receive over 120 pages of detailed, full colour, illustrated handouts along with a CD of all the images used in the course.
